4 Editors Put Summer Fridays's Lip Oil to the Test

"I am a big fan of the Summer Fridays balms, so when I saw the brand was coming out with lip oils, I couldn't get my hands on them fast enough. Right off the bat, I loved how all of the colors could work on my skin tone, and that the lighter shades didn't look ashy on my lips. With that, I personally gravitated toward the shade Blush Dreams.

Formula-wise, Summer Fridays has a winner on its hands. The lip oils are glossy yet moisturizing — a huge feat for a product made with occlusives (meaning that ingredients are usually used to seal in moisture, not necessarily boost hydration as a standalone product). I'm obsessed with the slight cooling sensation these provide alongside the fact that when I take off my makeup at the end of the day, my lips still feel soft and supple.
