We got wind of the exciting Rowing Blazers x Target collab just last month, teased with a few enticing images of what was in store: an array of items ranging from accessories like totes and crossbody bags to pullovers, polos, pantsuits, and even home decor. Shortly after that, the retailer unveiled a comprehensive lookbook featuring every item from the much-anticipated collection, allowing shoppers to preview the offerings from the September 23 drop. Our editors were lucky to be able to test a few pieces ahead of the official launch to share our candid thoughts on the collection.

But first, a little background if you're new to Rowing Blazers. The American label was founded in 2017 and has since become a leader in the preppy style sphere, known for its rugby and polo shirts and outerwear, among other silhouettes. It's also known for some major collaborations, with its latest venture being the partnership with Target. This collection is particularly noteworthy because Rowing Blazers is known for premium pricing, whereas many items created in partnership with Target are affordably priced at under $30, all while maintaining the brand's signature collegiate-cool allure.

No surprises here, as Target's designer collaborations consistently sell out, but since the Rowing Blazers x Target release, pieces have disappeared from both virtual and physical store shelves at a rapid pace. But if you still need inspiration for your shopping spree before the stock dwindles, we've got you covered. Below, three editors handpicked styles from the Rowing Blazers x Target collection and put them to the test. Dive in to explore their selections with photos showcasing how they styled them, and find out what makes each piece unique.

Rowing Blazers x Target Striped Sweater

Rowing Blazers x Target Adult Rugby Stripe Sweater ($40)

"The Rugby Stripe Sweater is such a cozy find for the fall! The pink/red colorway definitely adds a bold splash of color to my wardrobe. I got a size small, which is more of an oversize fit for me, and I'm 5'1" (though I could have sized down for a true-to-size fit). I paired it with a white button-down underneath for a more preppy look, plus jeans and loafers. I French-tucked the sweater since it's oversize. I like that I can style this in a more elevated way, but can also wear it with leggings for something more casual. The material is so fluffy and soft as well, keeping me warm as the temperature drops." — Anvita Reddy, assistant editor, Commerce

Rowing Blazers x Target Fleece Jacket

Rowing Blazers x Target Men's Rose Print Fleece Zip Up Jacket ($50)

"I'm hardly exaggerating when I say I've been wearing this fleece constantly. While it's technically designed for men, it's a testament that exceptional silhouettes transcend gender boundaries entirely. Every aspect is perfect, from its full zipper design and roomy pockets to its fun floral print and plush fabric. It's even lined on the inside for extra warmth and durability and has a secret inside pocket for items you want to keep extra secure. I can't speak any more highly of this find and suggest you race to add it to your cart if you want it, because there's no way it'll stay in stock for long." — Marisa Petrarca, contributing editor, Commerce

Rowing Blazers x Target Crew Neck Sweatshirt

Rowing Blazers x Target Adult 'Kindness' Graphic Crewneck Sweatshirt ($34)

"I love a graphic T-shirt, and this Rowing Blazers sweatshirt with oversize font is the perfect replacement for the chillier months. I can enjoy a cheeky pun now and then, but this sweatshirt's simple message of kindness is the energy I prefer to exude. With my 5'6" frame, the medium is roomy enough to be cozy without making me feel like I'm drowning in fabric, and the emerald green color couldn't be prettier. I'll be pairing it with wide leg sweats and sneakers for a sporty vibe or a patterned skirt and chunky oxfords when I need a more elevated look." — Angela Elias, contributing editor, Commerce
