Refy's New Lash Sculpt Mascara Is Ahead of the Curve
They say eyes are the window to the soul. If that's true, lashes must be the curtains that frame and accentuate that window. Personally, I like my lashes long and individually defined. For a while, I've been seeking an innovative product that offers all the perks of a lash lift without making an actual appointment. A lash treatment to go, if you will. In the past, I've tried to capture what I've been looking for by experimenting with cult-favorite mascaras, viral mascaras, and false lashes. I've even tried replacing mascara with Vaseline because, well, TikTok told me to. While these methods were fun to try, I'm happy to (gently) kick them to the curb after trying Refy's newly released Lash Sculpt mascara ($24).
After applying my first coat, I instantly became a fan. The comb-like applicator zeroes in on each lash, achieving a defined finish while simultaneously setting the pigment using the same non-transfer formula as Refy's Brow Sculpt product. I've bid farewell to the days of using eyelash curlers to prep my lashes for mascara. Now, I'll be relying on the Lash Sculpt mascara — a one-stop shop for length, definition, and high-grade formula. Keep reading for my full review.

What I Like About Refy's Lash Sculpt Mascara
This mascara applies unlike anything I've used before. The ultra-curved wand glides on easily and leaves my lashes elegantly lifted for hours. The ease of application gives this product a top spot in my current everyday rotation, especially because minimal effort is important to me when it comes to makeup. I don't know anyone who prefers spending up to three minutes applying mascara over using an intuitive product that does all the work.
I'm not only impressed by its simplicity, of course. I usually struggle with mascara finding its way onto my eyelids when they're long and lifted, but that doesn't happen with this product. My lashes stay perfectly in place all day long and show no signs of wear throughout the day. Since I'm not one to carry mascara around with me when I'm out, it's important that the one I wear has staying power and can hold for several hours. I also love the idea that while my lashes are being held up all day, ingredients like vitamin E, panthenol, and tocopheryl acetate are working behind the scenes to hydrate and strengthen them.
The Lash Sculpt mascara will be in my collection for a long time. I find it refreshing that Refy's first mascara is so refined and state of the art. It's fun to see mascara modernized in a unique way under the direction of the sophisticated brand, which was founded by influencer Jess Hunt. If this is its first, I hope it's the first of many.
How to Use Refy's Lash Sculpt Mascara
Applying Refy's Lash Sculpt mascara is a totally straightforward and satisfying process. There is no wrong way to apply, but I suggest first swiping on an eyelash primer if you really want that extra staying power. After applying one or two coats, wait about 30 seconds for that to dry off before going in with the mascara.
Believe it or not, it matters how you take your applicator out of its tube. Try twisting it out and wiping off any excess product on the edge of the tube. Once you're ready to go, examine the wand and use the shorter bristles for your inner lashes and the longer bristles for your outer lashes. For the ultimate sculpted look, comb through your lashes from root to tip. I find it best to make that first swipe count. Be thorough in your swipe. A good first coat sets you up for an even better second, and so on.
What to Consider Before Trying Refy's Lash Sculpt Mascara
At $24, this mascara is pricier than your average drugstore mascara. If you're willing to splurge and have an affinity for the "clean girl" look, I'd say the Lash Sculpt mascara is a great option. It delivers on the promise of a lengthened, sculpted lash and is worth a try if you're on the fence. If you're into the more grungy, indie-sleaze vibe, I'd say this probably isn't the right mascara for you.
